
Worcester Railers HC Bolsters Corporate Partnerships Department

Worcester Railers HC News Release
Worcester, MA - The Worcester Railers Hockey Club(@RailersHC), proud member of the ECHL (@ECHL), and Railers president Michael G. Myers officially announced today that the club has bolstered the Railers HC corporate partnerships department.
Leah Motsis has been promoted to director of corporate partnerships after spending the last two + years with the club as manager of corporate partnerships. The native of Holden, MA had spent six years with the DCU Center, most previously as the advertising and sponsorship sales manager. Motsis will lead the Railers corporate team moving forward as the team plays season two in Worcester.
Former Railers intern, Mellissa Lafleur, joins the Railers corporate department as the corporate fulfillment coordinator. The native of Chicopee, MA a is a graduate of Nichols College where she played four years of lacrosse and one season of hockey while receiving her bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
Mellissa Lafleur joins manager of corporate sales Tym Dore and corporate fulfillment coordinator Jacqueline Avola as the department expands to four full-time employees.
"Leah has been terrific for us since day one when she came over from the DCU Center and has been a key part in getting us going on the corporate partnerships side," said Myers. "We are happy to add a former intern in Mellissa who has a bright future within our organization and will assist us in the corporate department as we continue to grow as an organization."
The Railers HC currently has 130 corporate partners and rank top 3 in the ECHL in total revenues. In addition to all corporate elements within the Railers organization, the Railers corporate team also represents the DCU Center and Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center in all their corporate element needs. The Railers battle the Growlers again on Wednesday at 5:30pm in St. John's, NFLD. The Railers return home this Friday on COUNTRY NIGHT presented by NASH ICON with a 7pm faceoff vs. the Maine Mariners at the DCU Center. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Railers bandana presented by Nash ICON and Jack's Abby along with a live performance by country artist and Railers season ticket holder Mychael David.
