
IceMen Welcome 8,000 Local Students

Jacksonville Icemen News Release
Jacksonville, FL - The Jacksonville Icemen will welcome over 8,000 students to Veterans Memorial Arena tomorrow for a special 10:30 a.m. puck drop when the Icemen will take on the South Carolina Stingrays in the club's Annual School Day Game, presented by Wendy's.
In a field trip unlike any other, students study math, science, language arts, and geography through the lens of a hockey mask. Each student receives an Educational Workbook based on Florida Educational Standards, a healthy bagged lunch provided by Publix, an Icemen gift, and admission to the game.
