
Hunter Fejes Receives PTO from Rockford IceHogs

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that forward Hunter Fejes has received a Professional Try-Out Agreement from the Rockford IceHogs, the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks.
Fejes, 24, currently leads the Solar Bears in scoring with 14 points (8g-6a) and 17 penalty minutes in 10 games. The 6-foot-1, 192-pound forward is also tied for sixth in league scoring and leads all skaters with three shorthanded goals.
The Anchorage, Alaska native has 116 points (57g-59a) and 145 penalty minutes in 158 career pro games split between the ECHL and AHL.
Prior to turning pro, Fejes played at Colorado College for four seasons, amassing 56 points (26g-30a) and 95 penalty minutes in 138 games with the Tigers program.
Fejes was a sixth-round selection of the Phoenix Coyotes (#178 overall) in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

The Solar Bears head north to begin a five-game road trip, starting with their first meeting of the season with the South Carolina Stingrays on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.
