The Chucks struck first once again scoring two runs in the top of the 1stinning from an RBI double from centerfielder Zach DeLoach and a sac fly RBI from third basemen Javier Valdes to make it 2-0.

The Bullfrogs scored a run in the bottom of the 1stinning but the Chucks offense answered right back scoring three runs in the top of the 4thinning with a two run RBI single from Zach DeLoach and an RBI triple from Reese Alexiades to make it 5-1 after four.

Chucks Starter Greg Dunham pitched very well in his second start of the season going five innings allowing only two earned runs and striking out five.

The Bullfrogs cut into the deficit with a three run bottom of the 5thinning but the Chucks came right back to score two in the top of the 7thwith a two run RBI single from catcher Isaac Quinones to make it 7-4 heading the bottom of the 7th.

After the Bullfrogs added a run in the bottom 7th, the Chucks also added a run off a sac fly RBI from Chucks shortstop Nick Loftin to make it 8-5 after eight innings.

Chucks Reliever Alex Stodola was simply outstanding in out of the bullpen going three innings allowing just one run and not allowing a hit. He also struck out out six batters.

Chucks closer Lenny Gwizdala came in to shut the door down and give the Chucks their fourth win in the last five games.

Top Performers

Woodchucks centerfielder Zach DeLoach had a big night at the plate going 2-5 with two RBI doubles to cap off a three RBI night.

Chucks Catcher Isaac Quinones had a huge two run RBI single in the 7thinning to give the Chucks a 7-4 lead at the time.

Chucks Reliever Alex Stodola was simply outstanding in out of the bullpen going three innings allowing just one run and not allowing a hit. He also struck out out six batters.

Chucks closer Lenny Gwizdala came in to shut the door down 1-2-3 in the bottom of the 9thinning to secure his sixth save of the season!
