The Wolves have won three straight games after posting three victories in their previous 11 matchups; Chicago, which has posted a 4-1-0-0 mark since the calendar turned to December, sits one point out of the top spot in the Midwest Division with 27 points through 24 games this year (12-9-2-1).

--- ANDREW EBBETT: Matched a team season-high three points (G, 2A) on Saturday ... Ranks first on the Wolves with 10 helpers and is tied for second on the squad with 14 points in 22 games this season ... Paces the team with a +8 plus/minus rating and has accrued a plus or even rating in 18 of his 22 games ... Registered 5 points (2G, 3A) in his last five contests

--- CHRIS TANEV: Paced Chicago with 3 assists and shared the team lead with 3 points in two games last week ... Tied for first among team blueliners and second overall on the squad with 8 helpers and shares first among Wolves defensemen with 10 points in 22 games this season ... Leads Chicago blueliners with a +6 plus/minus rating and has posted a plus or even rating in five straight games and in 17 of his 22 tilts overall

--- MATT CLIMIE: Ran his winning streak to three games by stopping 64 of 69 shots in two contests last week ... Accrued a 2.65 goals-against average and .914 save percentage in 12 games this season (5-7-0) ... Has started the last seven games for Chicago, posting a 2.29 goals-against average and .930 save percentage (4-3-0)

--- DARREN ARCHIBALD: Bagged his first AHL multiple-goal game on Thursday ... Shares fifth on the club with 4 markers in seven games this season, with two of those tallies coming on the power play ... Shared second on Kalamazoo with six goals and fifth with 13 points in 18 games this season before joining Chicago ... Also ranked second on the K-Wings with a +6 plus/minus rating

--- BRETT STERLING: Registered his 41st career multiple-goal outing in the Wolves 3-2 win over Lake Erie on Saturday, which snapped a season-high four-game scoreless streak ... Paces the club with 8 markers and 16 points in 20 games this season ... Shares second on the squad with a +7 plus/minus rating

WOLF TRACKS

--- The Wolves won their 800th game in franchise history on Saturday at Lake Erie; Chicago has posted 314 International Hockey League wins and 486 American Hockey League victories in its 19-year existence.

--- Chicago closes out the month of December with three home games against Abbotsford and road contests against Grand Rapids and Rockford, both of which the Wolves are chasing in the Midwest Division standings.

--- Right wing DARREN HAYDAR has tallied 7 points (2G, 5A) in his last six outings after collecting 3 assists in his first 13 games this season; the 33-year-old forward shares fifth on the Wolves with 10 points (2G, 8A) in 19 games this year.

--- Chicago has bagged a man-advantage marker in three straight games for the first time this season (three of 17); the Wolves have converted 11 of 99 power-play opportunities (11.1%) in 24 games this season and are one of just two AHL clubs who have yet to be awarded 100 power-play opportunities.

--- The Wolves were perfect on the penalty kill Saturday for the 10th time this season; the team, which has been shorthanded just 97 times this season, ranks 29th in the AHL with a 79.4 efficiency rating on the penalty kill (77 of 97).

--- Wolves defenseman BRAD HUNT will visit the Huntley Area Public Library, 11000 Ruth Rd., at 4:30 p.m. and the Cary Area Public Library, 1606 Three Oaks Rd., at 7 p.m. today as part off the team's "Read to Succeed" program, presented by Butternut Bread and J.U.L.I.E. Inc. Members of the squad will make more than 20 library visits throughout the Chicago area this season for the program, which has reached more than 625,000 children since its inception in 1995.

--- Left wing BRETT STERLING scored twice for Chicago, while center ANDREW EBBETT recorded a three-point effort (G, 2A)

--- Goaltender MATT CLIMIE notched 30 saves

--- The Wolves held off a late charge by the Hamilton Bulldogs and hung on for a 4-3 victory at the Allstate Arena

--- Forwards DARREN ARCHIBALD (2G) and DARREN HAYDAR (G, A) and defenseman CHRIS TANEV (2A) paced the Chicago offense

--- Goaltender MATT CLIMIE posted 34 saves
