Paradis Reassigned by Chicago to Rockford

Rockford, Ill.- The National Hockey League's Chicago Blackhawks have reassigned winger Philippe Paradis from the ECHL's Toledo Walleye to the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs.

Paradis, 21, appeared in five games with the Walleye, notching nine PIMs. The Normandin, Quebec native began the season with Rockford and skated in 14 games with the IceHogs, marking a pair of assists before getting assigned to Toledo.

Last season, Paradis played in 58 games with Rockford during his rookie campaign and racked up 5g-11a-16pts and was named the team's Heavy Hitter.

Next Home Game: Saturday, Dec. 22 vs. Abbotsford Heat at 7:05 p.m. The IceHogs host the Western Conference's top team on Saturday for Stan Mikita Night. Blackhawks Ambassador and Hall of Famer Stan Mikita will be on hand to meet and greet fans. The first 1,500 fans through the gates will get a mini-stick, compliments of U.S. Cellular.
