Stars Bring Hubert Labrie up to Texas

CEDAR PARK, TX - The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has reassigned defenseman Hubert Labrie to Texas from the Idaho Steelheads, the Stars' ECHL affiliate.

Labrie, 21, returns to Texas for the second time this season, having made his 2012-13 Stars debut on Wednesday, November 21st against the Oklahoma City Barons, recording five penalty minutes and a +1 rating. The Victoriaville, Quebec native has appeared in 22 games for Idaho this season, recording five points (2 goals, 3 assists), 46 penalty minutes and a +10 rating. Labrie has played in 34 career AHL games for the Stars, scoring three points (2 goals, 1 assist) and amassing 23 penalty minutes.

The Texas Stars return to action on Wednesday, December 19th as they host the San Antonio Rampage at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Park Center for another Winning Wednesday and H-E-B Night.
