HUNGRY LIKE A WOLF

The Wolves have recorded a 15-2-1-2 in their last 20 outings to vault to the top of the American Hockey League with a .738 winning percentage. Chicago's 5-3 loss against Peoria on Saturday marked just the second time in 20 games the squad was defeated in regulation.

WOLVES HEADLINERS

--- DARREN HAYDAR: Registered points in seven straight games, netting four goals and six assists during that span ... Notched the game-winning goal in three of the Wolves' last four victories ... Recorded 42 points (14G, 28A) in 38 tilts with the Wolves this season, which includes 12 multiple-point outings

--- JASON KROG: Leads the AHL with 59 assists and 91 points in 65 games this season, which includes five helpers and nine points in his last four outings ... Matched a team season-high three assists and collected four points in Chicago's win on Friday, his 27th multiple-point performance of the year ... Shares second in the league with 32 goals, which includes lighting the lamp in two consecutive outings

--- BRIAN FAHEY: Tallied a point in a season-high three consecutive games (2G, 2A), which includes a goal in two straight ... Recorded a professional career-high 13 markers this season, the most among active Wolves defensemen ... Accrued an AHL career-most 30 points in 61 outings this season, second among team blueliners

--- BRETT STERLING: Recorded three points (G, 2A) in his last two games after being held off the scoresheet in his previous three outings ... Leads the AHL with 33 goals and shares second on the club and 14th in the league with 57 points in 55 tilts this season ... Potted 88 goals in 132 AHL games with the Wolves, fourth-most in franchise history

--- ONDREJ PAVELEC: Racked up 16 straight starts without being defeated in regulation before Saturday's 5-3 loss against Peoria ... Posted 13 wins, one regulation loss, one overtime loss and two shootout losses since Feb. 2 ... Leads AHL rookies and ranks second overall in the league with 28 wins (28-10-2) in just 40 outings this season

WOLF TRACKS

--- With 15 regular-season contests remaining, the Wolves hold a 14-point lead over Rockford and San Antonio for the top spot in the West Division.

--- Chicago's 46 wins and 96 points are the most collected through 65 matchups in franchise history; the squad's 46 victories share the AHL lead with Providence, while its 96 points rank second behind the Bruins (98), who have played two more games.

--- The Wolves launch a five-game road trip on Tuesday against the Lake Erie Monsters, their second-longest swing away from the Allstate Arena this season.

--- Chicago leads the AHL with a .733 winning percentage on the road this season
(21-7-1-1), which includes posting at least one point in seven straight (6-0-0-1); the squad will play 10 of its remaining 15 regular-season games away from the Allstate Arena.

--- The Wolves are averaging an AHL-best 3.77 goals per game this season; Chicago has lit the lamp at least four times in 37 of its 65 games this season (33-4-0-0).

--- Chicago has netted 93 of its 245 markers on the power-play (38.0 percent), which leads the AHL.

--- Chicago fell behind, 3-1, early in the second period and could not draw even as they fell to the Peoria Rivermen, 5-3, at the Allstate Arena
--- Forwards JASON KROG and KEVIN DOELL and defenseman BRIAN FAHEY posted markers for the Wolves
--- Netminder ONDREJ PAVELEC recorded 27 saves in the loss

--- The Wolves tallied three times in a span of 3:02 late in the third period to earn a 6-3 victory over the Lake Erie Monsters at the Allstate Arena
--- Six different players lit the lamp, led by linemates JASON KROG (G, 3A) and DARREN HAYDAR (G, 2A)
--- Goaltender ONDREJ PAVELEC posted 22 saves on 25 shots

--- Captain DARREN HAYDAR netted a power-play goal with one second remaining in
regulation to give the Wolves a 3-2 win over the Hamilton Bulldogs at the Allstate Arena
--- Defensemen SCOTT LEHMAN and NATHAN OYSTRICK also recorded goals
--- Goaltender ONDREJ PAVELEC posted 20 saves on 22 shots
