Adirondack Phantoms News Release
WEEKEND RECAP
The Phantoms split a four-game week last week, winning 3-0 over Norfolk on Tuesday and 2-1 over Portland on Sunday while dropping contests on Friday to Hershey, 5-3, and on Saturday at Bridgeport, 4-2. Martin Houle made his first start of the season for the Phantoms on Sunday and picked up his first win as well, while Scott Munroe recorded his fourth shutout of the year and his team's ninth of the season in the Tuesday victory over the Admirals.
UPCOMING OPPONENTS
Wednesday, March 19 and Friday, March 21, Phantoms vs. Hartford Wolf Pack 7:00: The Phantoms and the Wolf Pack (New York Rangers) will face off in a home and home series starting on Wednesday night in Hartford. The Wolf Pack will then travel to Philadelphia on Friday night to complete the series. This will be the only two meetings of the season between the two teams. The Wolf Pack are currently 40-19-2-6 for 88 points, which puts them in second place in the Atlantic Division. Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau currently leads the team with 26 goals and 64 total points on the season. It will also be the first time the Phantoms see their former pugilist Josh Gratton since he was traded to the Phoenix organization in February of 2006. The Phantoms will be trying to improve an already impressive record against the Atlantic Division - they're 10-3-1-0 against teams from the Atlantic this year.
Saturday, March 22 - Phantoms at Hershey Bears, 7:00: This will be the ninth installment in the 12-game season series between the Phantoms and the Hershey Bears (Washington Capitals). The Phantoms are currently 5-3 against the Bears this season. This past Friday, the Phantoms had leads of 1-0 and 2-1, but the Bears answered with three second-period tallies and never looked back en route to a 5-3 win at the Spectrum. Alexandre Giroux had a 4-point night for the Bears.
Live audio and video broadcasts are available for every game at Phantomshockey.com.

The Phantoms are currently fourth in the Eastern Conference and sixth in the AHL.
Comparisons to past years through 68 games:

Philadelphia's magic number to clinch a playoff spot is currently 10 points over Binghamton. Any combination of points gained by the Phantoms or lost by the Senators amounting to 10 will clinch a playoff spot for Philadelphia.
NEW YORK, NEW YORK
Friday offers one of those bizarre coincidences in the AHL/NHL schedule. The Phantoms host the Hartford Wolf Pack on Friday night at the Wachovia Spectrum. About a thousand feet away, the Flyers will host the New York Rangers, Hartford's parent club, at the Wachovia Center.
PHANTOMS GO GREEN THIS FRIDAY
This Friday night is Green Night with the Phantoms when they host the Hartford Wolf Pack at the Wachovia Spectrum. The Phantoms will be celebrating the environment throughout the entire evening. Watch for a press release later this week detailing all that is taking place.
Tickets are still available! Visit www.phantomshockey.com for more details.
