The Chicago Wolves announced Friday that forward Justin Crandall, left wing Mike Embach and defenseman Nick Petrecki have signed professional tryout contracts (PTO) in advance of tonight's Amtrak Rivalry game at Milwaukee.
Crandall, 23, has delivered 15 goals and 35 assists this season for the Reading Royals. The Lakeville, Minnesota, native leads all ECHL rookies in scoring. He turned pro late last season after amassing 40 goals and 39 assists in four seasons for the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Petrecki, the San Jose Sharks' first-round pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, posted 2 goals and 5 assists in 17 games for the Indy Fuel (ECHL) this season. He also notched 6 assists in 14 games for the Elmira Jackals (ECHL) and no points in 3 games for the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL).
