Wolves Recall Friesen and Testwuide from Missouri

The Chicago Wolves have recalled defensemen DUSTIN FRIESEN and J.P. TESTWUIDE from the Central Hockey League's Missouri Mavericks.

FRIESEN dished out an assist in the Mavericks 2-1 win over the Dayton Gems on Dec. 3. He has tallied a goal and four penalty minutes in 12 games with the Wolves this season.

The 28-year-old blueliner recorded three points (G, 2A) and six penalty minutes in 28 games with the American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers last season. He also appeared in 35 ECHL contests with the Idaho Steelheads, notching 15 assists, 17 points and 12 penalty minutes. The Waldheim, Saskatchewan, native also tallied three points (G, 2A) in nine Kelly Cup playoff matchups with the Steelheads last year.

TESTWUIDE was held scoreless against Dayton on Dec. 3 and has notched one assist in four CHL contests with Missouri this year. He has also skated in two games with the Wolves this season.

The 27-year-old blueliner posted five points (G, 4A) and 56 penalty minutes in 48 AHL games with the Adirondack Phantoms during his second pro campaign last season.
