Jets Reassign Festerling to IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have removed Brett Festerling from the Injured Reserve List and reassigned him to the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

Festerling, 25, played in five games with the Winnipeg Jets before suffering an upper body injury on Nov. 9/11. In that time he recorded two penalty minutes. The Prince George, BC native has now played in a career total 88 NHL games, between Anaheim and Winnipeg, for a total of eight points (0g, 8a) and 35 penalty minutes. Prior to his recall on Nov. 3/11, Festerling played in 11 games with the IceCaps this season recording four points (1g, 3a) along with six penalty minutes.
