The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned center BRAD SCHELL from the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators to the Chicago Wolves .

SCHELL currently leads the ECHL with a career-high 85 assists and 110 points - 22 more than the next closet player in the league - in 63 games this season. The 22-year-old forward registered three points (G, 2A) and a +4 plus/minus rating in four outings with the Wolves earlier this season.

The Scott, Saskatchewan, native has recorded multiple points in 36 of his 63 contests with the Gladiators, which includes 15 outings with three or more. His 85 assists and 110 points are both Gwinnett franchise records and his 85 helpers are already the fourth-highest single-season total in ECHL history.

SCHELL recorded a goal in the 2007 ECHL All-Star Game while serving as team captain for the American Conference. He was named the ECHL Player of the Month for December after leading the league with 22 assists and 30 points that month.

The Thrashers' sixth pick, 167th overall, in the 2002 National Hockey League Entry Draft, SCHELL has racked up 240 points (62G, 180A) in 194 ECHL games with the Gladiators over the past three years. Last year, he helped Gwinnett reach the Kelly Cup Finals with 12 assists and 13 points in 17 postseason tilts.

Last season, SCHELL also appeared in 10 matchups with Chicago during his AHL debut, netting three points (G, 2A).
