Hartford, March 27, 2007: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager/head coach Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack have signed left wing Kenny Roche to an Amateur Tryout (ATO) agreement.

Roche, a third-round draft pick (75th overall) by the parent New York Rangers in 2003, recently completed a four-year college career at Boston University (Hockey East). In 38 games this season with the Terriers, the 6-0, 205-pound native of South Boston, Massachusetts notched 12 goals and 17 assists for 29 points, along with 28 penalty minutes. This was good for third on the Boston University squad in points and goals and tied for third in assists. During the 2005-06 season, the 23-year-old was the top goal-scorer on the team and finished tied for fourth on the team in points. Prior to playing at Boston University, Roche attended and graduated from St. Sebastian's School in Needham, Mass, where he was a New England Prep School East First Team All-Star as a senior.

The Wolf Pack return to action tomorrow for a special school-day game at the Hartford Civic Center (11:00 a.m. faceoff) for the club's third annual "Sonar's Edu-Skate" game. That game will be a GEICO Connecticut Cup battle with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The two Connecticut rivals hook up again Friday night in Bridgeport (7:30). That is followed by a pair of games against the division-leading Manchester Monarchs, Saturday night in Hartford (7:00) and Sunday in Manchester (4:05).
