The Sudbury Wolves have drawn first blood in their six-game series BELL CHALLENGE CUP series with the Soo Greyhounds. DMITRY SOKOLOV led the Wolves to a 4-3 victory last night in the Soo with two goals. ALAN LYSZCZARCZYK continued his scoring exploits with a goal and a helper. ZACK BOWMAN was outstanding in goal for the Wolves and stopped 38 shots. Wolves' captain DANNY DESROCHERS got the ball rolling for the Wolves early in the contest with his 4th goal of the season.

In recent years, the Greyhounds have owned the BELL CHALLENGE CUP but the Wolves are making it known that the tide is turning. The Wolves and the Hounds will play each other next on Wednesday, December 2nd in the Soo. The Sudbury Wolves and the Soo Greyhounds acknowledge the support of BELL in recognizing hockey supremacy in Northern Ontario by sponsoring the BELL CHALLENGE CUP between the Hounds and the Wolves.
