Sarnia Sting News Release
Sting Overview
With a 1-1 split last weekend against Kitchener and Sault Ste. Marie, the Sting improved to 8-3-1-0 on the season and remain two points back (with 1 game in hand) of the Windsor Spitfires for tops in the OHL's West Division.
The Sting are in tough this weekend as they hit the road for a 2-game swing. First, on Friday night the Sting take on Josh Ho-Sang and the Niagara IceDogs at the Meridian Centre in St. Catharines.
Then, on Saturday, the Sting visit the Erie Insurance Arena for the first time since being eliminated from the playoffs last year. The Otters got the best of the Sting in game 1 of the season, spoiling the Club's Home Opener with a 5-4 victory. The Sting have lost just two games in regulation since opening night, and will look to return the favour in front of the Otters' faithful on Saturday.
Fans can catch road games on CHOK 1070AM, online here, or by following along via live tweets.
The Sting return to action next Friday night at the Sarnia Sports & Entertainment Centre when they take on the Flint Firebirds at 7:05 PM. Friday's tilt marks Flint's first trip to Sarnia in franchise history.

Friday, October 30, 2015 - Sarnia Sting (8-3-1-0) @ Niagara IceDogs (4-7-1-0)
Puck Drop: 7:00 p.m.
Although the 'Dogs have got off to a slow start, they are certainly not a team that the Sting will take lightly. Dylan Strome: Selected 3rd overall by the Coyotes last year, Strome captured the OHL scoring title last season - putting up 129 points in his draft year. The Otters' captain has 13 points in 8 games thus far this season.
