
Wolves Host Spitfires and Frontenacs in Double Header

The Sudbury Wolves will continue their 5-game homestand this weekend when they host the Windsor Spitfires and Kingston Frontenancs at the Sudbury Arena. The Wolves will welcome the Windsor Spitfires on Friday, December 12th before hosting the Kingston Frontenacs on Saturday, December 13th.
The Spitfires currently sit 10th in the Western Conference with a record of 10-16-1. The Spitfires are led by offensive defenceman TREVOR MURPHY who has notched 8 goals and added 17 assists in 27 games this season. The Spitfires are also led upfront by 19-year-old right winger SAM POVOROZNIOUK who has 20 points in 27 games.
Friday's game is sponsored by SUDBURY CARPETLAND. Don't miss the SUDBURY CARPETLAND shoot-out during the first intermission! Fans will have the chance to win great prizes throughout the game. Game time is 7:30pm.
The Wolves will hit home ice once again on Saturday, December 13th at 7:00PM when they host the Kingston Frontenacs for the one and only time this season. The Frontenacs sit 5th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 13-10-1-2. LA Kings prospect, SPENCER WATSON and left-winger ROBERT POLESELLO lead the Frontenacs upfront with 28 points each this season.
Saturday's game is sponsored by the TRAVELODGE HOTEL SUDBURY who will be on hand with a number of prizes for lucky fans throughout the game. Stay in your seats during the first intermission to cheer on one lucky fan who will have the chance to win a $25 gift certificate to PERKINS by finding Sleepy Bear.
The annual TEDDY BEAR TOSS will take place Saturday night. Fans are encouraged to toss teddy bears on the ice when the Wolves score their first goal of the game. The toys will be donated to the TD Toy Bank who will distribute the bears to children in need in the Sudbury area. In memory of Liam Kirkwood, the Wolves will be accepting donations for The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada throughout the game in the lower lobby.
