
Wolves Announce Staff Promotions

The Chicago Wolves have announced title changes for the following six staff members: COURTNEY MAHONEY has been named senior vice president of operations; JUSTIN SKELNIK has been named media relations manager; CHRISTINA MORITZ has been named manager of creative services; DAN HARRIS has been named operations manager; MATT RYAN has been named senior partnership sales executive; and BRYAN BROWN has been named e-business specialist.
"These individuals play a critical role in the success of the Chicago Wolves, and it is a pleasure to be able to publicly recognize their accomplishments," said Wolves president MIKE GORDON. "With their efforts, along with the rest of our very talented staff, we will continue to position ourselves as the best sports entertainment value in Chicagoland."
MAHONEY has served as the vice president of operations for the past three years and is entering her 15th season with the Wolves. The Western Springs native and University of Wisconsin graduate joined the Wolves community relations department in 1996 and moved into the leadership role before the 1997-98 season. She assumed control of game operations prior to the 2000-01 season, before being named director of operations in 2004.
SKELNIK served as the team's media relations coordinator for the previous two years. The Chicago native and University of Iowa graduate also served as the media relations intern during the 2007-08 campaign.
MORITZ, a native of Canton, Ohio, and graduate of Marietta College, has served as a graphic designer in the team's creative services department since joining the Wolves staff in June 2008.
HARRIS, a native of Orlando, Fla., and graduate of Washington and Lee University, enters his third season with the Wolves after spending one year as a community relations coordinator and one year as the team's game operations intern.
RYAN, a native of Golf and graduate of the University of Michigan, has spent the last two years as a partnerships sales executive. He joined the team as a sponsorship sales intern in September 2007.
BROWN, a native of Highland Park and graduate of American University, has held the titles of ticket sales representative and account executive since joining the organization in June 2008.
The Wolves will face the Milwaukee Admirals in a pair of Amtrak Rivalry matchups this weekend, beginning at the Bradley Center on Friday at 7 p.m., before both teams visit the Allstate Arena for the Wolves home opener, presented by LifeSource, on Saturday at 7 p.m.
