Hartford Wolf Pack News Release
The Wolf Pack (28-30-1-6, 63 pts.) won two out of their three games this past week, moving into third place in the Northeast Division and 11th place in the Eastern Conference. The Wolf Pack scored three third-period goals in Wednesday night's home game against Bridgeport, to win 4-1, before a six-game Pack home winning streak was snapped in a 6-1 loss to St. John's on Friday. On Saturday at Adirondack, Jesper Fast had his first three-point game in North American pro, with two goals and an assist, as the Wolf Pack ended an 0-3-1-0 road drought with a 4-2 win over the Phantoms.

This week:
The Wolf Pack play three games this weekend, starting with a 7:00 PM home game against the Springfield Falcons on Friday night. That is followed by a home-and-home set against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Saturday night at the XL Center (7:00), and Sunday in Bridgeport at 3:00 PM.
Friday, March 28 vs. the Springfield Falcons at the XL Center, 7:00 PM
- At this and all Friday-night Wolf Pack home games this year, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $2 beers at the XL Center through the start of the second period, presented by Marc's Appliance Warehouse, located at 75 Prospect Ave., Hartford, CT.
- ESPN SportsCenter anchor Linda Cohn is scheduled to join Bob "Hawk" Crawford, the play-by-play voice of the Wolf Pack, for "Hawk's Nest" in the XL Center's Comcast Coliseum Club from 6:00-6:20 PM. Questions and comments will be welcomed from the patrons enjoying the Comcast Coliseum Club's wide array of dining and beverage options. The Comcast Coliseum Club restaurant and bar area is open two hours prior to every Wolf Pack home game, to everyone holding a ticket to the game.
- Also in the Coliseum Club, this night will feature the Semi-finals of the Labatt's Bubble Hockey Tournament of Champions. That will take place at 5:00 PM.
- This will be the Wolf Pack's first-ever "Sonar Saves" dog adoption night. Two animal-rescue organizations, The Simon Foundation of Bloomfield, CT and Manchester, CT's Our Companions, will be on hand in the XL Center atrium distributing dog-adoption information. The Simon Foundation will have dogs at the game for fans to meet, and both groups will have adoption paperwork available.
- The Wolf Pack have won four straight meetings with the Falcons, after going 0-4-0-2 in the first six. The Pack is 2-1-0-1 in four previous home games against Springfield.
- The Falcons have lost their last two after a five-game winning streak, but still lead the Northeast Division by five points over second-place Albany, with a record of 39-20-1-5 for 84 points.
- Veteran defenseman Patrick McNeill (9-22-31 in 53 GP), a two-time Calder Cup champion (2009 and 2010) with the Hershey Bears, had two goals for Springfield Sunday in the Falcons' 5-4 home loss to St. John's.

Saturday, March 29 vs. the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the XL Center, 7:00 PM
- Through the Wolf Pack's "Selfless Saturday" option, fans purchasing tickets on-line for this game can earmark a portion of their ticket purchase to be donated to one of five charities. Those beneficiaries are the Susan G. Komen Foundation, March of Dimes, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the You Can Play Project and the Police Activities League (PAL), a non-profit arm of the Hartford Police dedicated to helping underprivileged youth. When purchasing tickets for this game on-line, through the Wolf Pack's official website, www.hartfordwolfpack.com, fans can enter a special promotional code. The particular code entered will direct the Wolf Pack to donate $2 from each ticket purchased to a specific one of the five charities. The promo codes are: KOMEN, for the Susan G. - The Wolf Pack stopped a run of three straight losses to the Sound Tigers with a 4-1 win Wednesday in the last game between the two teams. The Pack are 2-2-0-0 in four previous home games against their Connecticut rivals.
- Bridgeport (27-31-2-5, 61 pts.) enters the week two points behind the third-place Wolf Pack in the Northeast Division. The Sound Tigers are 0-2-0-1 in their last three games and 1-7-1-1 in their last ten.
- Former Quinnipiac University Bobcat Jeremy Langlois and ex-Yale Eli Jesse Root, who faced off against one another in last year's NCAA Frozen Four championship game, are now Sound Tiger teammates. Langlois has 2-2-4 in five games since joining Bridgeport and Root scored the Sound Tigers' only goal in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Wolf Pack at the XL Center, Root's pro debut.
