
Wolf Pack turn in stick for clubs

They can shoot and score, but can they hit and sink? Weather permitting, the players and coaches from the Hartford Wolf Pack are scheduled to participate in their annual charity golf tournament on Tuesday, October 11 at the Golf Club of Avon.

WHAT: ANNUAL GOLF FOR KIDS TOURNAMENT IN SUPPORT OF THE CHILDREN'S HOME OF CROMWELL
WHEN: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11 (WEATHER PERMITTING), 10:30 a.m. shotgun start
WHERE: Golf Club of Avon, 160 Country Club Road
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
More than 100 participants are expected for the tournament, which pairs a player or coach with teams of four. In case of rain, call the Pro Shop at 860-673-4577 or Judy Pal at 860-729-9474 after 7:30 a.m. to check to see if the tournament will go. If the golf portion of the event is cancelled, media are welcome to attend the banquet portion of the event, starting at 4:00 p.m. at the golf club.
