
Wolf Pack Sign Greg Moore to ATO Agreement

HARTFORD, April 13, 2006: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager/head coach Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Hartford Wolf Pack has signed forward Greg Moore to an amateur tryout (ATO) agreement, effective April 12th.
Moore, a 6'1", 215-pound Lisbon, Maine native, was originally drafted by the Calgary Flames with their fifth-round selection (143 overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and was moved to the New York Rangers in a four player trade in March 2004, along with Chris Simon, Blair Betts and Jamie McLennan. In 41 games with the University of Maine this season, Moore had 28 goals and 16 assists for 44 points and registered 47 penalty minutes. The senior forward led the University of Maine in points and goals, served as the team captain and led the Black Bears to the NCAA Frozen Four this season, where they fell to University of Wisconsin, 5-2 in a Semifinal game.
The Wolf Pack return to action Friday night with a road trip to Providence to face the Bruins (7:05 p.m.). On Saturday, the Pack wrap up their regular season, hosting the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at home (7:00 p.m.) during the final GEICO Connecticut Cup showdown of the year.
The AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack hockey club is part of Madison Square Garden LP. Cablevision Systems Corporation owns a controlling interest in MSG LP, which also includes the New York Rangers (NHL), New York Knicks (NBA), the New York Liberty (WNBA), the MSG Network, Fox Sports Net and the Madison Square Garden arena complex.
