Wolf Pack Announce 2006 Calder Cup Playoff Scenarios

HARTFORD, April 13, 2006: Today the Hartford Wolf Pack announced the dates and times for their two possible playoff scenarios in the first round of the 2006 Calder Cup Playoffs. The Wolf Pack, who are ranked second in the Atlantic Division with 100 points, have clinched home ice advantage for the Division Semi-Final and will meet either the Providence Bruins (#3 with 90 points) or the Manchester Monarchs (#4 with 89 points) in the best-of-seven first round series of the 2006 Calder Cup Playoffs. The Wolf Pack won the coveted Calder Cup in 2000 and will take to the ice for the playoffs for the ninth straight year.

The 2006 Calder Cup Playoffs begin with the Division Semi-Finals, which matches up the first-place team with the fourth-place team and the second-place team with the third-place team in each division. The Division Finals then match up the winners of each Division Semi-Final. From there, the series winners advance to the Conference Finals and the winners of the Conference Finals meet in the Calder Cup Finals. All series are a best-of-seven format.

Individual tickets for the Wolf Pack's first two home games (Games A and B) will go on sale this Saturday, April 15th at 10:00 AM at Ticketmaster outlets, through Ticketmaster charge-by-phone at (860) 525-4500, (203) 744-8100, (203) 624-0333 or (413) 733-2500, and on the web at www.hartfordwolfpack.com. Additionally, tickets will go on sale at the Hartford Civic Center Box Office on Saturday, April 15th beginning at 3:00 PM. Individual tickets for the first round are available for as little as $9.00 for youth and $17.00 for adults. Playoff ticket strips (all 16 possible home games) are on sale now and can be purchased through the Wolf Pack ticket office at (860) 548-2000. Prices start as low as $198.40 for adults and $107.20 for youth 16 and under.
