Wolf Pack Recall Petruzalek from Charlotte

Hartford, October 31, 2006: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager/head coach Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the team has recalled forward Jakub Petruzalek to the Wolf Pack from Charlotte of the ECHL.

An AHL rookie, Petruzalek played in two games for the Wolf Pack at the beginning of this season, registering no points or penalty minutes. In four games with the Checkers this season, Petruzalek registered one goal and seven assists for eight points.

The Wolf Pack return to action tomorrow night for their first four-games-in-five-nights stretch of the season. Tomorrow, they face off against the Portland Pirates at home (7:00 PM faceoff). They will then host the Providence Bruins on Friday and Norfolk Admirals on Saturday (both 7:00 PM faceoffs) before finishing up the busy week with a GEICO Connecticut Cup visit to Bridgeport to take on the Sound Tigers on Sunday (4:00 PM start).
