The Chicago Wolves will conduct a Future Media Day for high school students at the Hoffman Estates Community Center and Ice Arena during the team's practice on Tue., Nov. 7, at 9:30 a.m.

ABC 7 News Sports Director and Primary Sports Anchor MARK GIANGRECO, ESPN Radio Host HARRY TEINOWITZ, Comcast SportsNet Anchor/Reporter KERRY SAYERS and Daily Herald Wolves beat writer SCOTT POWERS will serve as guest speakers. The group will discuss their experiences making a career in sports journalism and answer questions from the students.

"I'm really looking forward to sharing my experiences with the students," said Giangreco. "It's also very rejuvenating for me to listen to their perspectives."

In addition to the Q&A with the speakers, the students will have the chance to watch practice and interview coaches and players.

"This is a unique opportunity for high school students to learn from individuals at the top of their field and put the tools to work in an actual media environment," said Wolves Executive Director of Operations Courtney Mahoney. "We are encouraging them to follow their dreams in sports journalism by listening to Mark, Harry, Kerry and Scott explain how they worked their way to the positions they hold today."
