Wolf Pack Recall Goaltender Jeff Malcolm from ECHL

HARTFORD, April 10, 2015: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack has recalled goaltender Jeff Malcolm from its ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Road Warriors.

Malcolm, a second-year pro out of Yale University, has seen action in ten games with the Wolf Pack this year, going 6-4-0 with a 3.40 goals-against average and an 89.3% save percentage. In 28 ECHL contests with the Road Warriors, Malcolm is 17-10-1, with a 2.52 GAA, good for tenth in the league, a 91.9% save percentage and one shutout.

Signed to an AHL contract by the Wolf Pack July 17, 2013, Malcolm is 7-7-0 in 16 career AHL appearances, with a 3.21 GAA and an 89.1% save percentage. In 55 career ECHL contests, the 25-year-old Lethbridge, Alta. native is 30-19-4 with a 2.70 GAA, a 91.6% save percentage and one shutout.

The Wolf Pack are in home-ice action tonight, with the Springfield Falcons visiting the XL Center for a 7:00 game. As at all Friday-night Wolf Pack games, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $2 beers through the start of the second period.
