Hartford Wolf Pack News Release
HARTFORD, - Global Spectrum announced today that the Hartford Wolf Pack will be teaming up with Hartford Police Athletic League to offer underprivileged youth the opportunity to try ice hockey.
The Wolf Pack are asking local hockey fans to join in this effort by donating hockey equipment for use by the participants in the PAL program. Any patron who brings a donation of good used hockey gear to one of the Wolf Pack's remaining October home games will receive a voucher for a free ticket to a future Wolf Pack game at the XL Center.
Receptacles will be in place to collect donated equipment at Wolf Pack home games this Friday, October 11, October 18, October 23 and October 30. The Police Athletic League will then be conducting hockey clinics on the XL Center ice on multiple dates later in the fall and winter, to introduce the fun, exhilaration and teamwork of the sport of hockey to many youngsters who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience it.
Tickets for all Wolf Pack 2013-14 home games are on sale now at the Public Power Ticket Office at the XL Center, on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com and by phone at (877) 522-8499.
