
Kabanov Reassigned to Stockton (ECHL)

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Oct. 8, 2013) - The New York Islanders have announced that Kirill Kabanov has been reassigned to the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL.
Kabanov, 21, was drafted by the Islanders in third round (65th overall) in 2010. He had nine points (two goals, seven assists) in 32 games with the Sound Tigers in 2012-13, his first professional season. The Moscow, Russia, native also scored a goal Saturday in the season opener against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
