
Wizards Make Roster Moves

Bismarck, N.D. (Jan. 22, 2012) - The Dakota Wizards announced that they have claimed guard Stefhon Hannah (6-1, 175, Missouri) from the available player pool and re-acquired forward Taylor Griffin. To make room on the roster the Wizards waived forwards Joe Harden and Patrick Sanders. Hannah and Griffin will be in uniform tonight when the Wizards take on the Tulsa 66ers in Tulsa.
Hannah joined the Iowa Energy in December of last season helping them win the 2011 NBA Development League Championship. He averaged 7.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 steals in 40 regular season games (12 starts) for the Energy. In eight playoff games last season, Hannah averaged 15.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.2 steals while scoring 31 points in the championship game against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. He most recently played for AZS Koszalin in Poland where he averaged 13.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.2 steals in 13 games.
Griffin returns to Dakota after being acquired on January 9th . He appeared in two games at the NBA Development League Showcase averaging 5.5 points and 4.0 rebounds.
The current roster stands at 10 players.
