
Wisconsin Herd Acquires Brandon Sampson

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, have acquired Brandon Sampson from the Iowa Wolves in exchange for the Wisconsin Herd's 2nd-round pick (via Raptors 905) in the 2023 NBA G League Draft.
The 6-5, 184-pound guard appeared in 13 regular season games with the Iowa Wolves averaging 8.9 points and 2.5 rebounds in 19.7 minutes per game. In his fifth year as a professional out of LSU, Sampson has spent time in the NBA G League with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Windy City Bulls, Delaware Blue Coats and the Iowa Wolves. During the 2018-19 season, he signed a two-way contract with the Chicago Bulls and appeared in 14 games (two starts) averaging 5.1 points and 1.1 rebounds. He returned to the Vipers during the 2019-20 season and later joined the Delaware Blue Coats for the 2020-21 season.
