Houston Rockets Sign Willie Cauley-Stein to 10-Day Contract

EDINBURG, Texas - The Houston Rockets announced today that the team has signed Center Willie Cauley-Stein to a 10-day contract from its NBA G League affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. This marks the Vipers second NBA Call-Up for the 2022-23 season and 52nd overall.
Cauley-Stein has appeared in 10 games for the Vipers during the 2022-23 Regular Season. He is averaging 9.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.3 blocks per game. The center appeared in 16 games for RGV during the 2022-23 G League Showcase Cup in which he averaged 6.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.3 blocks per game.
