"Tonight I had to trust myself, I've been overthinking my shot during the game but I know there's not a shot I can't make," Scrubb Said.
"We had a hot start but they came back and tied it up. It's a long game but coach has us prepped."
Stanley Umude led Motor City with 25 points off the bench. Jared Rhoden had 23 points, and Jaylen Johnson added a triple-double for the Cruise.
The Magic got back to a .500 record at the end of a three game road trip. The Magic now have a five game homestand and are trying to make their presence known.
"We want to win every game. We are discussing a championship, not just the playoffs," Scrubb Said.
The Lakeland Magic (11-11) will face the Grand Rapids Gold, on Sunday, March 5 in Lakeland at 3:00 PM on Bally Sports Florida.
