Winston-Salem Dash Announce Roster Moves

The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:

- RHP Myles Jaye promoted to Winston-Salem from Low-A Kannapolis

- RHP Ryan Buch assigned to Winston-Salem from Double-A Birmingham

- RHP Stew Brase assigned to Low-A Kannapolis from Winston-Salem

- RHP Justin Collop released from White Sox organization

Jaye, who will start for the Dash tonight in their series opener with first-place Myrtle Beach, was 4-1 record with a 2.20 ERA in seven starts with the Intimidators. In April, Jaye went 3-0 with a 0.90 ERA over 30 innings. Tonight will mark the former Toronto farmhand's first career appearance in High-A ball.

Buch makes his way back to the Carolina League after spending parts of each of the last two seasons here in Winston-Salem. Buch was transferred from Double-A Birmingham, where he had a 4.91 ERA in five appearances out of the Barons' bullpen.

Brase started this season at extended spring training before making his way to Winston-Salem. In his time with the Dash, the La Grange, Ill., native sported a 5.19 ERA in six efforts out of the bullpen.

Collop started six games for Winston-Salem this season, going 2-3 with a 5.79 ERA. He was Chicago's sixth-round pick in 2009 and logged 396.2 innings during his time in the Sox farm system.
