Winnik Returns To San Antonio

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, an affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes and the San Antonio Rampage, have announced that center Daniel Winnik has been re-assigned by the Coyotes to San Antonio of the American Hockey League.

Winnik, 22, has eight goals and 18 points in 53 games with the Rampage this season. The Mississauga, Ontario native was assigned to the RoadRunners prior to Tuesday's game and skated in Phoenix's 6-0 loss to Bakersfield. Winnik has six assists in five games with the RoadRunners. He is a former ninth round draft choice of the Phoenix Coyotes at the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

Phoenix concludes their four-game homestand at 7:11 p.m. Thursday as they welcome back the Bakersfield Condors to US Airways Center. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
