
ECHL.com Has Record Highs In January, February

PRINCETON, N.J. - ECHL.com
doubled its traffic for the fifth month in a row in February with a record
3.9 million page impressions which is an increase of 101 percent from 2006
and 431 percent from 2003. From October to February, the web site has seen
its traffic double from the previous year with more than 21 million page
impressions including all-time highs in January for page impressions,
unique visitors and user sessions.
Unique visitors to
ECHL.com increased more than 31 percent from last February and are up
more than 175 percent from 2003 while user sessions are up over 32 percent
from a year ago in February and 229 percent from 2003. From October to
February, the web site had over 2.4 million user sessions and 877,520
unique visitors.
ECHL.com had more than
3,000 stories posted in 2006 and saw page impressions increase by 49.9
percent to 27.6 million as user sessions grew 11.4 percent to 4.2 million
and unique visitors saw a 7.9 percent increase to 1.5 million. From 2003 to
2006 page impressions grew by over 307 percent while user sessions and
unique visitors increased by more than 207 percent and 159 percent,
respectively.
In its fourth season, the
ECHL.com Network provides access to information for fans with links to
all 25-member teams as well as ECHL partners.
For the past six years,
ECHL.com has been a member of the NHL.com Network which includes all
NHL teams and league partners, including the top two professional
developmental leagues with the ECHL and the American Hockey League.
The ECHL web site is hosted by
GKG Sports Network in Bryan, Texas.
