
Wings Announce 2018-19 Leadership Group

Kalamazoo, MI. - The Kalamazoo Wings announced the leadership group for the 2018-19 season on Friday morning. Defenseman Ben Wilson was named captain for a third straight year, while Kyle Bushee and Justin Taylor will once again be assistant captains.
All three players began the season wearing an "A", until a team-wide vote determined those three to be team captains once again. Wilson will wear the "C" starting Friday night as the K-Wings host the Toledo Walleye.
In roster news Kalamazoo activated defenseman Eric Kattelus and forward Zach Saar off injured reserve. Both are expected to be available on Friday night. To make room on the roster the K-Wings released forward Eric Ylitalo.
