Wingnuts to Welcome Miss Kansas Teen USA

WICHITA, KS- Alyssa Klinzing, Miss Kansas Teen USA© 2013, will make an appearance at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium on Sunday, September 1st when the Wichita Wingnuts take on the Kansas City T-Bones at 3:16 p.m.

Klinzing is scheduled to throw out the ceremonial first pitch and will be on hand for photographs. The Olathe, KS native was crowned Miss Kansas Teen USA© on December 2nd, 2012.

Klinzing is involved with numerous volunteer activities, including Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), CureSearch, Angel Babies, and the Girl Scouts of America. In 2012, Klinzing earned the Girl Scouts' prestigious Silver Award.

The Wingnuts face the Lincoln Saltdogs at Haymarket Park on Thursday night at 7:05 p.m. All the action can be heard locally on Oldies 92.7 KWME and worldwide at www.pressboxproductionsradio.com

The Wingnuts return home on Saturday, August 31st when they host the Kansas City T-Bones.

The 2013 American Association Division Series begins September 4th. Wichita will face the winner of either the North Division or the South Division. The Wingnuts host Game Three of the series on Friday, September 6th, as well as the "if necessary" Games Four and Five on September 7th and 8th.
