
Wingnuts add Pitcher Cross

WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Wingnuts filled their 22-man roster today, signing rookie pitcher David Cross.
Cross joins the Wingnuts from Virginia Tech University, where he went 1-2 with a 2.89 ERA in 2007. The previous season Cross started 14 games, winning three.
Cross will be in the lineup tonight when the Wingnuts take on the Pensacola Pelicans at 6:35 p.m. in Florida. The Wingnuts, 1-1 in the second half of the season, will return home on Monday to face the Sioux Falls Explorers, starting a seven-game homestand.
