Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
The Fort Worth Cats shutout the Shreveport Sports 9-0 Thursday in front of 3,445, the second largest crowd of the season at Fair Grounds Field. After scoring an unearned run in the first, the Cats added two runs in the fifth and put the game out of reach with a four-run sixth inning. The Sports were held to just six hits and didn't have a base runner to third base the entire game. The Sports will now open up a three-game series at El Paso Friday with game time 7:30 and the broadcast on AM 1130, KWKH.
