Windy City Bulls Earn Regular Season Finale Win Over College Park

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, beat the College Park Skyhawks 126-115 Thursday night at NOW Arena. Windy City was led by Chicago Bulls Assignment guard Carlik Jones with 44 points, seven rebounds and four assists.

Windy City center Daniel Oturu chipped in 20 points off the bench, shooting 9-for-13 from the field. Chicago Bulls Assignment center Marko Simonović shot 50% from the field, finishing with 18 points and 12 rebounds.

After a back-and-forth battle to start the game, Windy City rattled off a 16-0 run to take a 13-point lead at the end of the first quarter. Jones scored 22 points in the first half, shooting 9-for-12 from the field, to help secure a 66-55 lead heading into halftime.

The Bulls scored 32 points in the third quarter to extend their lead to 15 heading into the final 12 minutes. Oturu scored 14 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter -- shooting 6-for-7 from the field -- to help Windy City close out an 11-point win over College Park.

College Park was led by guard Armoni Brooks with 24 points. Skyhawks guard Tyson Etienne shot 6-for-10 from the field, chipping in 22 points.

With the win, Windy City finished the regular season with an 18-14 record, while College Park fell to 15-16 with one game remaining on its schedule.

After the victory, Windy City currently sits in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The top six teams in each conference make the G League Playoffs, but the Bulls haven't clinched their spot yet. Standings will be finalized on Saturday, March 25 when the regular season wraps up.
