Logan Williamson worked six strong innings and the offense enjoyed another productive night as the York Revolution doubled up the Camden Riversharks, winning 6-3 at Campbell's Field on Friday night. The Revs have won back-to-back games and three of their last four overall, and will look to win the four-game series in the finale on Saturday evening.

Camden plated the game's first run in the third inning. Brandon Chaves singled up the middle and Paddy Matera doubled to left-center to put runners at second and third with no outs. Williamson allowed only one run though, as Ryan Strieby hit a broken bat roller to short for an RBI fielder's choice with Wilson Valdez throwing out Matera who was attempting to advance to third. Williamson then induced a first pitch double play grounder from Mike Costanzo to put a quick end to the threat and minimize the damage.

York rallied for four runs in the top of the fifth to go in front. Willie Cabrera worked a leadoff walk and Shannon Wilkerson singled to left, extending his hitting streak to seven consecutive games. Valdez then sacrificed both runners over, and Bryan Pounds clubbed a two-run triple off the base of the right field fence, giving York a 2-1 lead. Andres Perez then ripped an RBI double down the left field line, and with two outs, Brandon Boggs stroked an RBI single to center, giving York a 4-1 advantage.

Camden pushed back, scoring twice off reliever Shawn Teufel in the seventh. Jose Gil drew a leadoff walk to start things, and with one out, Michael Rockett singled to left. Chaves then doubled to right-center, cutting the York lead to 4-2 with the tying runners both in scoring position. Stephen Penney then entered and retired Matera on a sac fly to right, but it cut the lead to 4-3 and advanced Chaves to third base. After a walk to Ryan Strieby, Penney ended the inning by retiring Costanzo on a pop up to second, preserving the lead.

Brad Bergesen also came up big out of the Revolution bullpen in the eighth inning in his second appearance. After a leadoff single from Joel Guzman, the righty recorded a pair of ground outs for the first two outs. Evan Crawford reached on an error by Valdez which pushed Guzman to third, and then advanced to second himself on a wild pitch, but Bergesen retired Rockett on a ground ball to short to maintain the one-run lead.

The Revs provided the insurance with a pair of runs in the ninth. With two outs and nobody on, Pounds singled to right to keep the inning alive. Perez then made Revs history on an RBI double down the left field line, tying the all-time franchise record for doubles with his 82nd in a York uniform, matching the mark set by Ramon Castro (2010-12). Perez then scored on a single to right by Eric Patterson, giving the Revs the 6-3 cushion.

Josh Judy allowed a leadoff double by Chaves but retired the next three batters to nail down his sixth save with a scoreless ninth.

Williamson (1-2) earned the win, allowing just one run and scattering seven hits over six innings. The lefty walked only one and struck out two, and has allowed just four earned runs in 22.1 innings over his four starts, holding a 1.61 ERA as a starter.

Camden starter Bill Murphy (1-4) took the loss, allowing four runs over seven innings of work.
