Wild Things Tap Bozutto as Manager

Washington, Pa - The Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Financial announced they have named Bob Bozzuto as the manager for the 2014 season. Bozzuto will take the helm effective immediately.

Bozzuto served the team in a variety of capacities, including bench coach, infield coach, hitting coach and third base coach during its most successful seasons, including multiple post season berths. Bob is also the Director of Athletics at North Allegheny High School, one of the largest and most successful high school sports programs in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

"Boz knows the team, the organization and is respected by the winning team he helped build," said Steven Zavacky, Assistant General Manager of the Wild Things. "He has been an asset to this organization since he started working with us over a decade ago, and I believe he is the best choice to take the reins as we head further into our playoff run."

The Wild Things are currently tied for first place in the very talented East Division of the Frontier League with a 41-25 record, and positioned to capture a playoff spot for the first time since 2007.
