
Wild Things Lose Early Lead and Game to Otters, 4-3

EVANSVILLE, IN. - The Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Financial, were unable to hold on to their early lead Thursday night when the Otters made a comeback in the eighth inning to win the game 4-3.
The Wild Things started off the game strong in the first inning when Kevyn Feiner drove Chris Sidick in with an RBI triple. Feiner also scored, and a homerun by Doug Thennis gave the Wild Things their early 3-0 lead. They held that lead until the eighth inning when the Otters rallied.
An RBI single by Evansville's Alex Foltz plated Troy Frazier. Greg Fontenot and Alex Foltz scored on an error to tie the game. Joe Spiers scored the winning run.
Justin Hall took the loss for the Wild Things, allowing four runs on eight hits, walking one and striking out eight in seven and two thirds innings. Steven Grife pitched one third inning in relief and struck out one.
