
Wild Things fall to Sliders

Washington, PA - The Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Federal Savings Bank, lost 9-1 to the MidWest Sliders.
The game started as a pitcher's duel. In the first three innings, Wild Things' pitchers Craig Snipp and Sean Heimpel gave up only one hit and MidWest starter James Albury held Washington to two hits.
Jacob Dempsey scored the Wild Things' run on a wild pitch in the fourth inning.
MidWest had a big sixth inning, scoring four runs on a series of singles and a double by Bryan Bonner that gave them a 5-1 lead. The Sliders added runs in the next three innings, including on a solo homerun by Ben Barrone in the eighth.
