Kings get trounced 13-1
June 22, 2009 - Frontier League (FL)
Kalamazoo Kings News Release
In the roughest game of the season so far, the Kings were wiped out 13-1 by the Lake Erie Crushers Monday night. Kings' starter Brandon Parillo struggled by allowing seven runs while walking three and hitting two batters. Ben Rue made his Kings debut in relief of Parillo and went 2 1/3 innings and struck out two. With the outcome in hand, Tim Brown took the mound in the ninth and while he let up a run, he did strike out a Crusher with a filthy 67 MPH changeup.
