FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends have once again partnered with Whitley Penn to celebrate an organization giving back to North Texas families. Family Gateway night, presented by Whitley Penn, will be this Friday as the Legends (0-1) take on the Santa Cruz Warriors (3-0) in custom jerseys.

Family Gateway provides support services to children and families affected by homelessness, focusing on keeping family units together to strengthen them through these challenges. Programming is customized to the family's needs and provides both stability and education for a brighter future. Family Gateway operates five emergency shelters throughout the metroplex, and they are the only emergency shelters that serve all types of families and keep them together.

Whitley Penn is a CPA and professional consultant firm that specializes in a variety of areas including business valuations, strategic consulting, risk advisory, and wealth management. With a holistic approach to business, Whitley Penn strives to create avenues for employees and clients to find whole wellness through both workplace wellness plans and purpose-driven community engagement.

Family Gateway will receive marketing assets leading up to the game night and in-arena throughout the game. They will also be the benefactors of the Legends' Mission of the Month. As part of MOTM, fans are encouraged to donate new items from Family Gateway's needs list (specifically standard pillows, towels, and laundry pods,) and all who donate on game night will receive a complimentary ticket, courtesy of Whitley Penn.

Friday's game is the first of a double-header against the Warriors; both Friday and Saturday tip off at 7:30pm CT. For tickets or information call 214-469-0822 or visit www.TexLegends.com.
