Whitecaps FC Confirm 2022 Preseason Games

Vancouver Whitecaps FC News Release
VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed on Tuesday the club will play four preseason games in San Diego, California. The team is set to depart for San Diego on February 5 for an 11-day camp in Southern California.
The first match will see the 'Caps face a mix of Club Tijuana first team and reserve players on February 6 at Triton Soccer Stadium, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. PT.
The Blue and White will play their second match on February 9 against USL Championship side New Mexico United at 1 p.m. PT. The match will also be played at Triton Soccer Stadium.
In the third match, the 'Caps will face another USL Championship side in San Diego Loyal SC at Torero Stadium on February 13. Tickets to the 7 p.m. PT game will be made available to San Diego Loyal SC 2022 Season Ticket members.
Vancouver will wrap up the trip with a closed-door scrimmage against LA Galaxy at Dignity Health Sports Park on February 16. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. PT.
Match updates, photos, highlights and recaps will be available on whitecapsfc.com and the club's social media channels.
The team will then return to Vancouver following the Galaxy match and resume training at the WFC NSDC at UBC in preparation for their 2022 MLS regular season opener against Columbus Crew on Saturday, February 26. Kickoff at Lower.com Field is set for 12:30 p.m. PT - live on TSN and AM 730.
The following week, the 'Caps will host defending MLS Cup champions New York City FC on Saturday, March 5 in their 2022 MLS home opener at BC Place. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. PT - live on TSN and AM 730.
