
D.C. United Announce 2022 Preseason Schedule

WASHINGTON, DC - D.C. United have announced their schedule for the 2022 Preseason in preparation for the 2022 Major League Soccer (MLS) Regular Season that begins on Saturday, Feb. 26 against Charlotte FC at Audi Field.
D.C. United players reported to Leesburg, Va., on Sunday, January 16 and will train at the Black-and-Red's new training facility, United Performance Center, before traveling to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to begin their first training camp on Monday, January 24. The team will train at the Inter Miami CF Training Center before competing against Inter Miami in their first exhibition match on Saturday, Jan. 29 at DRV PNK Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET.
Following the friendly, D.C. United will return to Washington, DC, on Feb. 1 to continue preseason preparations then travel to Palm Springs, Calif., for their second training camp. While in California, the Black-and-Red will compete in the Coachella Valley Invitational at Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif. The inaugural, five-team invitational features the LA Galaxy, Los Angeles FC, New York Red Bulls, and Seattle Sounders FC and will be closed to the public. D.C. United will compete against the New York Red Bulls in their first match of the invitational on Thursday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT) then against LAFC on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 4 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT).
In their final match of the 2022 preseason, D.C. United will travel to Los Angeles, Ca., to compete against the LA Galaxy on Saturday, Feb. 19 at Dignity Health Sports Park. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET (3 p.m. PT).
Following their exhibition match against the LA Galaxy, the Black-and-Red will return to the nation's capital and continue preparations ahead of their opening match of the season against Charlotte FC on Saturday, Feb. 26.
Information regarding streaming preseason matches will be made available at a later date.
