MOBILE, Ala. - Tonight, the Mobile BayBears will begin a five-game home series against the Birmingham Barons from Hank Aaron Stadium with Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey making his final appearance at "The Hank" in a pregame performance. Gates will open at 6 p.m. with Whiplash taking the field at 7:00 before the BayBears and Barons battle in game one.
It's also Thirsty Thursday at the ballpark with $1 Buds and Pepsi available between 6 and 8 p.m. Additionally, there will be a Battle of the Bands as Davidson and Mary G. Montgomery High Schools dual to see which marching band is supreme.
