GRAND RAPIDS - The Westchester Knicks (21-16), the official NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, took down the Grand Rapids Drive (17-18) in a thriller tonight by a score of 116-115.

The first quarter proved to be a back-and-fourth contest with neither team separating itself from the other. Both teams shot over 50 percent from the field during the period, with Westchester shooting a blistering 68 percent. With the Knicks trailing by one with just under a minute left, Jordon Crawford would score nine straight points to give Westchester a 34-31 lead after one.

Westchester began to separate themselves in the second period, as they opened up the quarter on a 19-9 run to take a 15-point lead with seven minutes left. The Knicks held a steady double-digit lead until the final minute of the half, when Grand Rapids scored six straight points to pull within 8 at the half: 66-58.

It was more of the same to start the second half as the team's traded baskets for the first four minutes. Trailing by six with just over seven minutes left, Grand Rapids went on an 11-5 run to tie the game up. After a 7-0 run put the Drive up by four with one minute left, Westchester scored the final four points of the third quarter to tie the game up at 89 heading into the final period.

The final quarter came down to the wire, with both teams trading leads until the very last minutes of the game. A pair of free throws put Grand Rapids ahead by one with 48 seconds left; however, Westchester would take the lead back for good when Travis Trice II was fouled and hit two free throw with seven seconds left. The Drive had one last chance to win the game, but a clutch block by Jordan Bachynski on Drive forward Devin Ebanks secured a 116-115 victory for Westchester.

Travis Trice II paced the Knicks with a team-high 27 points and five assists, while newly acquired Ra'shad James was right behind him with 23 points and seven rebounds. Jordon Crawford (18), Jordan Bachynski (17), and Thanasis Antetokounmpo (14) rounded out the five Knicks who finished in double figures.

Grand Rapids also had five players finish in double figures; Devin Ebanks leading the way with a game-high 31 points. NBA veteran Dahntay Jones finished with 21 points and six rebounds, while guard Gary Talton just missed a double-double, finishing with 18 points and nine rebounds.

The Westchester Knicks will return home to the Westchester County Center next Thursday, March 3 to take on the Canton Charge at 7:00 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast live on MSG 2 and on the NBA Development League's YouTube channel.
