
Atlanta Hawks Assign Patterson and Tavares to NBA Development League

ATLANTA, GA - The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club has assigned guard/forward Lamar Patterson and center Edy Tavares to the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League, pursuant to the flexible assignment rule, it was announced today by President of Basketball Operations/Head Coach Mike Budenholzer.
Patterson has seen action in five D-League contests this year with Austin, recording 16.2 points, 6.6 assists, 5.6 rebounds and 1.2 steals (.422 FG%, .778 FT%).
Tavares has played in 12 D-League games this season (10 with Austin and two with Canton), averaging 9.8 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in 21.1 minutes (.672 FG%, .761 FT%).
